- Open the App Store on your Apple TV, search for your chosen app and select Get.
- Open the app and add a playlist. Choose Xtream Codes if it’s offered and enter the server URL, username and password from your welcome email. Otherwise, paste your M3U link and, if the app asks, your EPG (guide) link.
- Type long addresses with your iPhone. When a text field appears on the TV, your iPhone shows a keyboard notification. Tap it to type or paste the URL instead of using the Siri Remote.
- Wait for everything to load. The first sync can take a minute or two while the app downloads channels and guide data.

- Turn on Match Content. Go to Settings, then Video and Audio, then Match Content, and turn on Match Dynamic Range and Match Frame Rate. Sports and movies play at their native frame rate without judder. Apple explains the setting here.

The TV guide is empty

A channel won’t start
Some apps let you switch the stream format between TS and HLS. Changing it often fixes channels that refuse to play. Also try the same channel in HD instead of 4K.
